Very nice place, great location! Highly recommended!

It was close to the station and the flat has everything you need and is very clean.

I would have liked to have more towels as we just had 1 towel each and so we had to wash them daily but we had a washing machine and a tumble dryer so we managed quite well.

I received immediate help over the phone to get inside the gate, and the owner was truly helpful and accommodating.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like

We loved that it was a complete apartment. We cooked breakfast each morning, washed clothes, used the dishwasher, and it is just a couple of blocks from Prima grocery. It's also very close to the buses and trains.

We checked in on a Sunday. Everything seemed fine at first. The check-in process was easy and the apartment was clean. It was hot in the apartment. The A/C unit was confusing to operate but finally got it to work. The next morning when showering we noticed that there was not any hot water. Before we left for a day of sightseeing we notified the apartment management about the hot water and were told someone would come out to look at it. When we returned that night we still did not have hot water. We contacted the apartment management again on Tuesday morning about the hot water. By Tuesday afternoon the management company contacted us and stated that the hot water could not be fixed during the time of our stay (we booked this apartment for 7 days). They offered us another apartment or a discount to stay in our originally booked apartment. We decided to choose the other apartment offered so we had to pack up four suitcases of clothing and arrange for transportation to the new apartment. We were very disappointed at the replacement apartment as it was much smaller than our original apartment and the quality was much lower. We ended up staying in a hotel for the remaining 5 days. After notifying the management company of our decision to stay in a hotel I requested that the management company refund 5 days and compensate us for the 2 days without hot water. After two weeks they have only refunded me for 4 days and will not respond to my email requests for refunding the additional day that I am due or any compensation for the inconvenience of no hot water or having to pack up and move. We are very disappointed with this management company and Bookings.com for not honoring our request. For anyone looking for an apartment in Budapest be forewarned that this company manages many of the apartments listed.
