Rohana Estate Lodging & Camping

Rohana is a great host. He helped a lot with the arrival, the organization of a hike, and shares a lot of great stories. The location is beautifully located in the tea fields, and we did multiple awesome hikes and runs. The food is very convenient as you buy the full service (breakfast, lunch, dinner etc for 5000lkr), we loved the coconut filled pancakes.

The location is very remote, which hints towards a serene night. That wasn’t the case. It can be really noisy as there is no isolation. Both nights there was a party which went on late. Hence, don’t expect a silent night of sleep. The room itself was clean, however, the bathroom wasn’t cleaned.

Impossible de dormir quand il y a du vent car chambre ouverte sur l extérieur. Couvertures pas top, pas de serviettes. Les repad sous forme de pack pour 15 dollars par jour ne sont pas bons. Le snack du midi n est pas un vrai repas mais juste qqs crêpes. Emportez votre propre nourriture Les photos sont beaucoup plus belles que la réalité, chambres petites et délabrées

Brilliant food. 3 incredible meals provided for 5000/day. Rohana the host is very friendly and kind. It's a beautiful escape from the city, settled on a small private tea estate with plenty of opportunities to explore the local nature

The property was in an absolutely beautiful location. So peaceful. Rohana was an amazing host, he made us feel right at home and helped organise many activities and walks. Such a variety of amazing food was provided to us, as well as home grown tea and coffee. Definitely an experience to do!

Zeer uitgebreid en heerlijk ontbijt en diner. De gastheer Rohana is zeer behulpzaam en helpt je bij het zoeken naar de mooiste wandelingen / trekkings.

Rohana is the most friendly and helpful host you can imagine. He works together with the local community to give you the best experience in this rural and remote area. We had fantastic local food, local guide and explanation about the area. His facility offers the basics you need and is a good basis to explore the area.
