Great location, good place to base yourself if you want to visit the area. Nice village everything you need.

Needs a corkscrew

The lodge was cosy and tucked away in a lovely quiet site. The lodge was spotlessly clean, and smelt amazing!! A really nice touch was being able to watch Netflix, hubby loved the coffee machine and we had a couple of games of monopoly! The lodge was equipped with everything we needed and the apple juice and crisps provided by the owner was a really thoughtful gesture. We cannot fault the hosts, who came to our rescue when we struggled to find the lodge due to it being dark and in the midst of a storm!! We will be recommending the lodge to our friends and family for sure.

The only thing (and it didn’t affect us at all) was struggling to work the central heating, but after a quick Google search we figured it out. It may be a struggle for older guests.

Great location for exploring the area. Spacious and comfortable and ideal for dog owners.

Would be helpful to have a folder containing instructions on how to work all the electrical and heating facilities. We struggled with TV remote control and using the heating.
