Clean, warm, spacious, good value, parking

It is not about the property but the process of booking through 2 systems Booking.com and Central Appt I had 19 emails - and maybe more between the 2 companies! And more messages. This made it complex to navigate at times and find the important information as not sure where to find things like the codes.

"Needs a bit of care and attention."

The location was perfect for my needs - directly opposite the care home I was visiting. The flat is spacious with a cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine.

The flat is spacious but poorly fitted out - a whole kitchen but with virtually no sensible cooking utensils and only really large cooking pots. The keys were in a key safe that was attached to a railing on the floor meaning I had to kneel on the ground to get them - the key safe should be attached to the wall. The same goes for loo paper which is balanced on the cistern without a loo roll holder attached to the wall. The main light in one bedroom is broken meaning that a small reading light was the only light. The bathroom is tiny and quite scruffy and needs an update. Horrible plastic flowers everywhere. No welcome pack of any description - not even a pint of milk. The bedding was cheap with flat foam pillows - the whole place could be excellent but needs some money spending on it.

There is no way to like something that is normal, that you have to have as an obligation. I have more reasons not to like it than to like it. Kitchen was not equipped as necessary, the building has no elevator and full of stairs, house is in a very dark location at night without lighting, all single beds, no comfort, hot shower only a few minutes away, it has to be a 1-minute shower because then it gets cold and you will only be able to have hot water again after 10 hours around.

There are so many things I didn't like, do you want me to start with dishonesty, inhumanity or dissatisfactions in the house? Let’s go for the dishonesty: I had to anticipate my checkout, 3 days in advance (I know that the reservation is not refundable) I made it clear to the host, who was leaving for health reasons, if he could refund me something partial, if it was not possible there would be no problem, he only canceled the security deposit which is £200 because I had already checked out on that specific day, I handed over the keys, they said they could not refund any amount, ok, I asked more you must cancel the security deposit because it is mine and I have already left the House. He said he could only do this when I finished the stay, but I told them that my stay ended at that moment and he didn't want to, I asked him to make the house available these days that if someone rented it he would give me a part, clearly. He was not honest or human, he did not make the days available, I called the central and reported, they contacted the host and he returned me in another way saying “that if someone rented the remaining days they would refund me, and that the security deposit they would also reverse" in short: they did not make the days available in the application, lie, saying that they were helping me and they did not do that, about the security deposit they only reversed one day after the date of my start checkout, that is, they still delayed. I thought this was such a lack of respect and consideration, I hope they put themselves in the place of the next one, I didn’t ask her to give me anything back, I asked them to help me. But honesty nowadays is not for everyone.
