Central Apart Hotel 2BR Flats-EASY Walk to City Centre-Parking

This was a spacious apartment at the edge of the city centre. Really good to visit on the lead up to Christmas day. The children enjoyed the Christmas fair in Parker's Piece. The parks, old streets and buildings were great for a city visit at this time of the year.

The WiFi was down for one day and being a Sunday appeared to be a problem to resolve. Thankfully, I had my own WiFi at no extra cost. So not really an issue.

Great location, comfortable, quiet, pretty well equipped. Big windows and good light.

Could have been a tad roomier and cleaner.

Compared to my horrendous last apartment stay at a place in Bournemouth, this was a Palace! Easy access and instructions to get into the building/flat. We were lucky to get a first floor apartment which meant only a few stairs up. The 2 bedroom apartment had everything we needed and was a great size. Very clean, with towels and toiletries included. ( could have done with an extra loo roll for 3 people though!) Plenty of radiators to keep it nice and warm. The apartment had, oven, hob ,microwave, full size fridge/freezer and I think even a washing machine and dishwasher ( don’t quote me on that one!) Couldn’t work out how to get tv to work, but then I’m not a fan of watching tv when I’m on holiday anyway. Parking is a bit tight, but we didn’t have a problem. There are plenty of local convenience stores, pubs and restaurants within 5-15 min walk from the apartment, with the main centre of town with shopping arcade/Christmas markets etc just 15 minutes away in the car. (Apparently 40 minutes to walk) mind you be warned , the parking cost nearly £16 for 3.5 hours! All in all, I would recommend this place, and would definitely stay again if an apartment was needed and was travelling with more than one person. For just 2, I still prefer the luxury of a hotel! 🥰 The correspondence from the property hosting team, was absolutely fantastic! Thank you.

Not enough toilet paper. Entrance hallway carpet could do with a clean.

Nice location about 20 minutes walk from the town centre - a lovely walk through a park.

Wifi was not working initially, but it was fixed promptly on request.
