Hidden Gem Hideaway Retreat in Central Town Area with AC

The location was great, close to shops, bars and restaurants. The street itself was not busy, but there was some noise from gulls and dogs. The bed was comfortable, though we would have liked more pillows. The shower room was fine and the water was always piping hot. The kitchen was compact but perfectly adequate and contained everything needed. We would stay there again. It was excellent value.

Apart from the pillows, would have liked a bedside lamp, but can't think of anything else. It wasn't a problem for us, but be aware that the street is a stepped-street, not steep, but you have to go up 50 metres of steps or ramps.

Room is a small space

The location is fairly central for access to anything, and there's grocery shops and cafes less than two minutes away.

The property had a fan, and I had to keep the window open. Aircon would be a benefit.

Relatively close to the main drag. Cozy and neat. Lots of TV programing available and wifi.

Shared entryway rather rundown. It made me apprehensive when I first arrived. Coordinating payment and check-in was a little awkward using Booking.com.

I liked how central the apartment was and all the recommendations from the host whenever we messaged them. Absolutely loved the city and staying in this hidden gem

That I had to leave at the end of my vacation!
