Charming Spacious 3-bedroom Beach Holiday House, Norfolk

The chalet was very clean and had everything we needed

Close location to beach. When asked about missing toilet roll, the host delivered it within the day.

Beds were uncomfortable and pillows were very thin. There is an electricity meter you need to pay for but I think that should be included in the cost. There were missing amenities that were listed in the booking but when asked about them, the host said to buy them. The host promised a pool but the employee said there has been no pool for 2 years, yet the host insist there is... which is very strange.

The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom clean and well appointed.

The description was inaccurate," charming with sea view. There was no charm, the net curtains were torn and the main curtains missing hooks. There was no toilet roll, or soap as in the description. There was no sea view. There was debris left from the previous occupants when we moved a sofa, which included a ticket, child's play things, a face mask, a fir cone, cigarette papers and a straw. I tried to get a refund but the service manager would not play ball. Offering a two hour extension to departure on the Thursday which I refused.

We like the chalet being like a home from home feel with an upstairs, 3 good sized bedrooms, a great sized family bathroom, a nice comfy double bed, & a lovely balcony. Everything you needed was there. Jan's shop was very welcoming. The host was amazing, very accommodating, gave us lots of information & kept in touch throughout our stay. Great service all round, we'll definitely be holidaying here again. Thank you so much for a stress free relaxing time 🙂🌹

It was a bummer that the bermuda arcades wernt always open or shut very early, but a little walk up the road & there were more arcades before you went into the hemby main high street.

Great communication from Angela the host from start to finish.She keep us updated with anything we needed to know along the way Including recommendations of places to visit and swiftly returned our deposit. The key is kept in a key safe which is handy as we all was going out at different times and didn't have to time our return to rhe chalet based on the rest of the families plans. The chalet is centrally located just a two minute walk away from the facilities I love that this is set over two floors, as a family of 6 the space was much welcomed. The master bedroom was lovely, very spacious with a patio door leading to a balcony with chairs, perfect for catching the afternoon sun. There was seating also outside of the door on a nice lawned area, so plenty of places to enjoy the sunshine. The kitchen is very well equipped with every pot/ pan utensil you could need. There is no excuse not to keep the chalet clean, with a hoover, dust pan and brush, mop and cleaning products , everything was there that was needed. The site itself gas a very well equipped shop. Had a big range of supplies including tools, gifts and toys as well as all your groceries. The cafe is great value for money, and caters for all diets. The arcade games/ machines were a lot cheaper than other holiday parks, with bowlingo a pound per person the same with air hockey. The onsite bar/ club house is a lot larger than it looks in the pictures has plenty of seating and some good acts. All the site staff were friendly and helpful We had a lovely stay and it really was good value for money with the centre of hemsby being only a 10-15 minute stroll away. Definitely worth a visit. We had a lovely peaceful stay.
