Viva Miches by Wyndham, a Trademark All Inclusive Resort

Had an incredible time while here. Absolutely beautiful property. Staff was friendly and helpful. We thought the speciality restaurants were ok, the Latin fusion was the best and really good. The Buffet was great with good options with theme nights daily. We would certainly go back.

The resort was very nice, staff were very friendly, however the location from Punta Cana was so far it was very costly to do anything and there wasn’t anything close by the hotel.

Checking was really bad

The only good thing was the beach without algae. Very unpleasant experience with unprofessional and unfriendly staff. Dirty utensils/plates/cups. Buffet area and bathrooms dirty and trouble with toilets flushing. Unable to get any restaurant reservation since day one on our 7 day trip nothing available even when going to customer service everyday. Most of the staff was rude which is the most unpleasant part about it. I can count with one hand the ones I saw with a smile on their faces. Multiple power loss during our stay. It is a very humid and hot area so we felt the no AC at night.

En la vida nada es perfecto pues nadie lo es...Siempre va a haver cosas en las cuales mejorar. Escoji mi estadia en este hotel basandome en varias cosas que buscaba y Viva Miches lo tenia...Hotel nuevo con aire frio y cuarto limpio, Montana, playa sin oleaje y sin sargaso, tranquilidad pero a la vez diversion ...y el hotel me dio todo todo lo que buscaba. Siempre vas a encontrar algo que comer, la bebidas para mi estuvieron ricas y refrescantes. NO Ponen cerveza en la nevera como dicen algunos que para mi no es importante y si te dan una botella de champana o vino y chocolates de bienvenida( para mi gusto mucho mas fino.) Gente atenta amable, que te dan buen servicio si descansar dan su todo y eso vale...en Punta Cana dando propina te sirven con mala cara ...el trato jamas sera como el de Miches ...todos los empleados merecen propina pues no paran de trabajar...quede impresionada.( si de viernes a domingo se llena y los huespedes muestran poca considerasion dejando basos y platos tirados...por todos lados....pero vez a los empleados como esclavos recogiendo)... Quizas no haya cupo para todos los restaurantes y haya que mejorar eso pero tampoco me molesto.. Mi familia y yo quedamos encantados volveria de nuevo. Vi tantas comentarios negativos que me preocupaba ir...pero MICHES me resivio con mucho carino. Gracias lo difrutamos los 5

Buenas instalaciones, nos gustó muchísimo

My review is mixed but this place has so much potential and fails in so many ways. Check-in Process (slow and provides so little info) A la carte restaurants (great service/amazing food (quantity of food tiny) but making reservations is impossible) told us only available last 2 days of our 7 day stay. Buffet Restaurant: food was excellent/service so slow (food best when first opens for lunch) Bar: Worst liquor I ever had at an all inclusive, unsure what it is but it ain't good. Gives bad hang overs . The bartenders only know how to make drinks on menu. Location: off the beaten path and is like an untouched paradise (water/sand beautiful no sargassum time of visit.) Cafe: worst service and worst coffee. They were closed during open times for cleaning. Cleanest Cafe I ever seen that never is open for business. Entertainment team: is amazing. During the day and at night. Lots of fun activities. Very youthful crew. Would I come back here, maybe they really need to work on their hospitality. One example is waiting to fill my cup with water from the machine at the bar and a worker wearing white shirt (pool guy) cut me off too fill his water cup. A worker by the Pool Pizzeria bathrooms made an inappropriate sexual comment to my wife that she ignored. At check-out the girl at the desk made an inappropriate comment asking if my wife was my daughter. Seems as if lots of hate towards mixed couples at the resort because of ignorant and untrained staff.
