Serene spacious room (double) in gorgeous bungalow on river near Thorpe park and Holloway University Egham

We recently stayed here for a night and were warmly welcomed by the hosts (Anita and Naren), who were very accommodating to both me and my partner. For a modest additional fee, they prepared a traditional Indian breakfast and a delicious smoothie. The property features a stunning garden that backs onto the River Thames, offering a serene spot for relaxation. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay, and I would rate the location a perfect 10/10.

The only improvement I would suggest for a more comfortable stay is upgrading from a double bed to a king-size bed.

A clean, charming home tucked away from the main road with a wonderful garden and river view, hosted by the most wonderful couple who went out of their way to make us feel at home. A lovely freshly cooked breakfast is available as well as lunch and dinner. We can not wait to stay here again next time we are in London. Also brilliant for anybody looking for somewhere to stay close to the airport.

Beautiful home and beautiful garden. We were lucky to have good weather to sit out by the riverside. Friendly couple, fantastic service, made us feel at home and comfortable and they also made us delicious home cooked vegetarian Indian food which was soooo good! Perfect location too. We would happily stay again. The couple have thought of everything and are excellent hosts.

This is a real gem, a little hard to find but worth the effort!! Tranquil with a beautiful garden down to the Thames with swans and boats passing while you enjoy a fabulous breakfast (extra cost) . Shared bathroom was spotlessly clean and very convenient to the room. You are asked to remove shoes on arrival and given guest slippers you realise why when you see the pristine white carpets!! I would most highly recommend and if you let the lovely owners know in advance they will also cook you a homemade Indian meal, That´s for me next time, and the time after. Guest for live!! Thank you both so much for having me, your home is beautiful and you are both pretty amazing too!!

Great stay, property in immaculate condition with a lovely view. Very relaxed and chilled environment. Hosts were lovely and very helpful. Dr Sharma was kind enough to offer a transport to the venue I was attending and he also picked me up after ( very competitive pricing compared to uber). 100% recommended.

The hosts went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable! The surroundings were serene and aesthetic! Ideal to just reconnect with the beauty of nature and the beautiful people that still exist!

Exceptional and beautiful place to stay. Lovely bungalow with garden running down to the banks of the Thames, with outstanding scenery. Brilliant hosts who could not do more to make my stay any better, would definitely recommend.
