Serene spacious room (double) in gorgeous bungalow on river near Thorpe park and Holloway University Egham

I needed a peaceful place to work and rest (with my small dog) whilst my daughters went to Thorpe Park. This ticked all the boxes! The owners hospitality was warm & genuine. The home cooked curry was fresh and delicious. Incredibly peaceful location with the garden right onto the river Thames, which both my dog and I loved! I was also able to walk him in the forest at the end of their road. A home from home…

It was nice, cleaned and spacious room. Really loved the backyard view which has direct access to the river. Host has welcomed us and accepted late check in with warm heartedly. Over all stay was quite nice and would definitely recommend to others .

It was just the perfect place, from the house, to the owners, the facilities... The owners made us feel like we were at home which is the best compliment anyone can give to a host.

No Cons at all

We had an overall excellent stay. Naren and Anita were fantastic hosts and made us feel at home. Our dinner and breakfast that Anita prepared for us was superb and we were both very happy with full bellies.

Nothing.

Upon arrival we were made very welcome by Dr Anita and Dr Naren. Both gave advice on how to get to a London theatre and we were taken to the train station by Dr Naren who told us about the area we were staying. Dr Anita made for breakfast and evening meals authentic Indian food which was out of this world, full of fresh flavours and using the best ingredients including fresh mint and figs from their garden in chutneys. The food was plentiful and made with love. Dr Naren explained how it was made and from which Indian region which was a lovely touch to the experience. The bungalow is beautiful and peaceful with an Indian and modern influence with the families personalities shining through the decoration. The garden is designed incredibly to compliment the seasons, the bungalow and the Thames with a large mooring to watch the activities passing by. There is a central white blossom tree which was not in bloom but was a feature in the garden. Our room was really cosy and the bed comfortable offering a great night's sleep. The shared bathroom was immaculate offering 2 showers in a walk in. I have to say the hospitality from Dr Anita and Dr Naren was the best Iv ever experienced. They were really kind and friendly and the stories were thought provoking and enjoyable to listen too. I felt so comfortable in their presence I made a comment about them being my new found parents. They are an absolute delight to stay with and warm genuine people. They stole our hearts and we wish to return again soon.

I have no complaint or faults on any aspect of our stay. It was perfect!

The property was lovely and situated in a nice quiet neighbourhood with easy access and secure parking. Viewing the Thames from the bottom of their garden was also a bonus.
