The coziness Excellent rooms although would have preferred a bath Was told I hadn’t booked the right room but was never given an option on booking

There seemed to be no care if residents It was Xmas and there was no reserved parking for residents very busy car park with other patrons The bar was closed in Xmas evening and Boxing Day. Leaving us with nothing to do as nit near anywhere to go Only 7 rooms but just nit looked after at all Xmas lunch was very average and not worth the money

Appears to have been recently redecorated. Smart.

Room. Nowhere to open out suitcase except on the floor or the bed. Lots of drawers but no one places their clothes in drawers for one night. No shelving in bathroom to put out toiletries. Nowhere in shower to place bathing apparatus. Breakfast was a limited. No offer of juice. No pastries. Rather overpriced for the complete offering.

We loved the breakfast which catered to our very different tastes. Presentation and portions were just right and Staff lovely

Our room was lovely and bigger than expected. The bathroom was superb. Our bedroom only lacked a chest of drawers in the room and a chair to be perfect. Thoroughly recommend the Black Horse

The bed was the most comfortable one we have used in any hotel and the ambience was generally very good. Breakfast was very nice and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Shower pressure was a little bit low but ok. No bottled water to drink in the room but that is it.
