Comfortable basement flat. Bedroom was neat and tidy, bed comfy. Kitchen was well-equipped and lots of bits included, such as tea/coffee, washing tablets, etc. Sofa bed large and comfy. TV and Wifi worked throughout. Bathtub/shower worked fine. Easy to collect keys and quick responses from host. Located in quiet area, five mins walk from Strood station and ten from riverfront, close to supermarkets and town centre. Good value.

A little dark, lots of black and not much natural light. Narrow, curved stairs down not ideal with luggage/prams, etc, but manageable.

The space was clean, quiet, and well-equipped with all the essentials, including a comfortable bed, sofa bed, and a small kitchenette. The location was convenient, close to public transport and shops. The host was responsive and provided clear check-in instructions. Perfect for solo traveler or couples looking for a budget-friendly and private place to rest. Would stay again!

Close to Rochester

Whole place was a bit run down and was very dirty, particularly in the bathroom which my partner spent an hour cleaning. Fridge stank and the front room smelled off. The outside space was a disaster and you were unable to sit out there. The stairs are a death trap and it had scaffolding there which made the already narrow stairs, very narrow. We didn't have the money to stay anywhere else as we did look to get a cheap hotel. The decor is third tlrate and looks like a child has done the decorating. It was a bit of a mess. Doors had marks on them, there were marks everywhere. Was offered a dlfree one night stay... I would not stay there again even if it is free.

It was right near the venue we were attending and very easy to follow, clear instructions.

Everything was there. It was fine but a bit disappointed with some aspects: Fridge had an unpleasant odour, utensils/cutlery and some surfaces needed cleaning. There was no bedding for the sofa bed so I made use of the spare duvet cover and pillow cases on a blanket and cushions. The outside table, chairs and yard were filthy, so we stayed inside.

Basement apartment but lovely inside & kitchen door & window gave natural light. Very peaceful & super comfy bed. Very good communication with host & easy entry. Good location for a walk into Rochester.
