La Terrazza di Sant'Agata

Amazing views from rooftop terrace, great apartment and facilities, close to everything, and really lovely host.

Nothing, it was all great!

Location - we had been recommended to stay near Via Etna & the apartment is just a couple of streets away & only round the corner from Piazza del Duomo. Really well located for the fish market, lots of the main sights & restaurants etc. We rented as a 2 bedroom apartment, the facilities are really good - fully equipped kitchen, including a washer if needed. No inside living room, but the balcony from one bedroom had table/ chairs & outside rattan sofa to sit down. The beds / pillows were really comfortable with memory foam, although this is subjective of course! The bedrooms have air-conditioning too & TVs. One bedroom has a bigger bathroom with shower over the bath, 2nd bedroom had smaller bathroom with stand in shower. The owner was really friendly & really helpful, sorted out a language barrier between us & a taxi driver, told us where to go for the best area of the beach, where to get takeout pizza & more. The apartment includes access to a roof balcony, which had great views - this is up a separate flight of stairs. It was light & bright with really high ceilings in an old building, loved it! It was as described & photos of the apartment are accurate.

Nothing really. Just to note it is on the 5th floor, there is a lift but it's quite small! There are also a couple of steps from the street to the lobby.

The appartment is nicely equipped, clean and the localisation is convenient, close to the most beautiful places in Catania and buses to other places worth visiting in Sicily. It is possible to spend evenings on a roof with amazing view. The host is very kind and helpful.

Central location, clean and best host

Location, location, location! Close to everything: the airport shuttle stop, the railway station, the bus stop for Taormina and Siracuza, piazza del Duomo, the Fish market. A lot of good restaurants and terraces in the nearby. A big plus for the rooftop terrace, a great place to enjoy a glass of prosecco on the terrace overlooking the historical centre. Malene, the host, was very friendly and helped us with information regarding nearby beaches, restaurants and others. Thank you!

The room is clean and comfortable. It has a nice terrace where you can relax. While my arrival was delayed due to a trouble at the airport, the host was waiting for me to check-in and welcomed me.
