Malene was a great Host and Always ready to Help If we had any questions.

Close to the centre, still quiet and extremely clean. We got a lot of tips from the owner and she helped us really good with all the questions we had.

One room a little noisy

The location is excellent with the roof terrace being a great asset. The room and adjoining covered verandah provided everything we needed. Marlene was super helpful and kind!

the terrace is unreal, so much more gorgeous than the pictures let on. and the location is perfect, everything was within 5 minutes walking. the host is also incredibly nice and accommodating.

I wanted to go to Catania for a week, to work remotely and visit in the mornings, afternoons and the weekend. I looked for a place that would be just enough for this, so something that was placed in the center, with maybe a balcony or a terrace so I could enjoy being outside while working on my laptop and enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings. This place accomodated all of these and even more! It is situated just 200m away from the main square and from Via Etnea. It is also close to the big bus station Piazza Paolo Borsellino, where you can take a bus to pretty much any place you would need to. The building is very clean, safe and spacious and my accomodation (the twin room) had the balcony from where I worked pretty much all the time, but also a desk and whatever you may need to live and work for at least 7 days. The room was very clean and tidy. The host was also just great, always willing to answer any questions regarding the city, beautiful recommendations, and with whatever one may need during a stay, either in the room or around the city. Also, another great hidden gem is the rooftop terrace, on which I went every evening and also in some morning, for either coffee, wine, reading, yoga and socializing. The terrace provides a beautiful view with all the attractions of Catania, from the seaside, which can be seen from one point, to the Dome, the beautiful city skyline and also Etna mountain. What was also nice was that, on the busy weekend evening, I could just spend time around the city, along Via Etnea, and then just come to the terrace before sleep, since all the noise of the streets were down below and the silence of the starry night would just provide me with a nice, cozy transition before going to bed. The internet speed was more than enough for remote work. All of these factors and for sure many more smaller details secured a place in my heart for this stay and this city. We had a wonderful stay at this place and highly recommend it. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Catania. The room is beautiful, clean and very well equipped with a cosy balcony. The apartment is on the fifth floor and there are great views to the dome and to mount Etna from the terrace. There is also a roof top terrace on the sixth floor with even better views. Malene is a great host! She also gave me her WhatsApp in case we needed anything, she really went above and beyond with her hospitality.

This is more like a sidenote: As the place is very central, you might also hear some noise if there is a festival or concert outside at night.
