Holiday Home at Huia Road

Needs extra blankets. Plus a toaster lol

The property was clean and tidy with everything we needed to ease into the day and to relax at the end of a busy day when we had been out. Situated close to a shopping mall, local eateries and the main motorway.

Only downfall was the parking situation, however we found the neighbours friendly and accommodating as we were driving in and out of the property. Had to park on the road a few times but it wasn’t a major issue for us.

Beds are very comfortable,

Grass in backyard was long when we arrived, it was like walking throw jungle , Need new lounge chairs you can feel the wood frame when sitting down, No parking, Next door car parked in front of our house , parked our car on street During our stay all cars parked on Road got towed, So waking up next morning finding your car gone , Was not good especially if you don’t live in Nz and don’t know the area, called number on signs lucky our car was parked couple streets away, Other then that our stay was ok

Property was great but the road was closed in the evenings for roadworks. This wouldn’t have mattered so much if we had been made aware of it before booking but we were there for a funeral and with my elderly aunts and uncles. We weren’t getting back home until after midnight each night and that was a disaster. I had to find them somewhere else to stay because they couldn’t walk up the road and across the uneven road to the house. It was a nightmare and a shame because the location and house were perfect.

Not enough tea cups for 5 people! There were only 2 when we specifically booked the property max 5 guests. The furnitures felt like they were about to fall apart when we had to sit on them.

Spacious home!

One of the couches were uncomfortable ( broken ).This was the only issue we had. Had to sit on dining chair tables. Otherwise everything was else fine. Upstairs was a little too hot aswell.

The house is nice(very handy to have 2 bathrooms and 3toilets). I like to have the alarm aswell.

The parking situation was annoying.(neighbours having 4cars next to our van )Not enough kitchen stuffs to cook. The not even outside drying rack with no pegs. Only 2fans for 4 rooms.
