Holiday Home at Huia Road

The space was great for our two families. Beds were comfortable and the area was close to the airport, as advertised.

It's not fully air-conditioned like advertised. Only one air-conditioner unit for the whole house, and it was located in the kitchen. Even though we ran it all night, it was still uncomfortably warm in the bedrooms on the second level, with no fans provided and no air conditioners in the room.

This beautiful holiday home is very tidy and clean closer to shops and everything Thank you for letting us stay at your holiday home we love it

Only 1 bathroom when it’s advertised as 2, second bedroom isn’t a real bedroom. It has no windows and super stuffy and hot - no air con so couldn’t sleep in it. Also had no wifi, I informed the host and they didn’t reply. The house is also so close to the neighbours that you can hear when they close doors in their house

The location of this property was perfect for us, we were working in Manukau so this was perfect. The house was comfortable and warm. The Kitchen and living areas were great and all working. The owner was very receptive when contacted.

While we appreciate that somethings are not the property owners fault, there were a few things about this accommodation that made our stay less then ideal. * The parking situation is difficult with neighbours making it difficult to get into the provided parking garage on each night of our stay. If there was more then one car then one car will need to park on the street. * The noise from the road outside and blinds instead of curtains makes it difficult to get a good nights rest, especially when the house moves when a truck drives past. * The backdoor has a problem lock that makes it difficult to close and lock. * The bins could not be found where they said they would be located, there needs to be more Mugs if more then two people are staying, and small things like a cloth to wipe up spills and more bathroom toilet paper would go a long way.

The location , the 2 couches were so uncomfortable we had to sit on pillows There was only one dinner plate There was a mouldy glass under the bed. Small things overall I didn’t think the communication from the owners was great , pretty generic responses to most questions

Could not use microwave at all, and on arrival rubbish was stacked up untidy, and smelly, in front of house, not disposed, had to go look for bins on main road. toilet sewage was very smelly, in toilet. I made contact with the contact person, said he was going to send someone around. No one turned up. On listing said parking, however when given access information via text, in the morning of arrival, said you had to park on the road. Which was very hard to find parking on the main road, had to walk 600 metres from house. Found it very inconvenient. Especially when u had to walk a block away when parking wasnt available on the nearby road.
