Perfect location. Accommodation had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend city break.

This was a romantic trip I booked and paid for myself and my boyfriend. We split up and he went without me. So I didn’t get to go but he said the room was lovely and I picked well so thank you!

Located on a side street off one of the main gates (Mickelgate) to the inner city is this little gem of an apartment.  On the ground floor (no steps yea) is one of this groups apartments, the Priory Studio.   Its really more of a one bedroom than a studio.  There is a bedroom with a full size bed that is quite comfortable with good pillows.  The other room has a kitchenette, with stove, 1/2 size fridge (US size), sink and small table for two.  It has all the equipment you would need to self cater a meal if you want.  It a wet bathroom but still very comfortable and functional just lacking an outlet for razor - but thats what happens in a wet bathroom.  Everything was very clean and in very good shape. The location is excellent.  You are a short walk to just about everything within the city walls of work.  There is a great pub 2 blocks away called the Golden Ball and a coffee shop called Cafe Fleur in the other direction that is excellent.  Shopping can be had either around the corner at the Sainsburg local, a short walk to M&S or a longer trip the larger store. Parking is not available but with the help of the app they recommended we were able to easily find parking nearby. The person who manages it is very nice, helpfuk and responsive.  All in all a great little place for one or two people to stay.  I know it will stay on our short list of places to stay in York when we go back - which we always do
