Stairs steep and bannister needed

Ideal location for places we wanted to visit. Clean and tidy. Off road parking.

A single light at the bottom of stairs. The key safe was a little temperamental.

Willow Barn is set in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Great for couples, everything you needed is here. Clean and comfortable, and owners are lovely and inviting.

I can not find fault.

Understanding that the owners are just completing the project. 1/ Be great if the Hot Tub was working 2/ there is a heating oil smell outside the property door ???? 3/ Stairs are steep - needs a handle 4/ Stairs are low and need sorting so no bumps on head! 5/ more cooking pans for people who want to cook.

Very clean, well equipped. Friendly hosts, gave us great local recommendations The bed was comfy and the pillows were like sleeping on a cloud.

Nothing at all … maybe the addition of a gazebo with comfy seating outside would make it absolutely perfect.

We had a fantastic two-night stay at Willow Barn and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable getaway in the Suffolk countryside. The barn is beautifully converted - spacious, spotless, and full of character. The interiors strike a lovely balance between modern comforts and rustic charm, with thoughtful touches throughout that made us feel instantly at home. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor seating area is a real bonus - perfect for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Long Melford itself is a great village to explore, with historic buildings, independent shops, cafes, and pubs all just a short drive or pleasant 40 minute walk away. There’s plenty to do in the local area, but Willow Barn also makes it very easy to simply relax and unwind. Our hosts were very welcoming, responsive, and clearly take great pride in the space. Everything was exactly as described - if not better. We’d happily return for another stay!

Property was spotless with high end fixtures and fittings. Very comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen.
