Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bei jeglichen Fragen. Das Frühstück ist liebevoll zubereitet und sehr lecker. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

It was very clean, everything seems to be new and well-maintained. We had dinner there and it was delicious!

Standard rooms may experience problems with wi-fi, it gets cold at night and hot water in the shower is pretty limited. Note that the hotel is remote from the city centre.

Da ich eine gesundheitliche Notlage im Terrabella hatte, ging alles andere etwas unter. In dieser Situation war Gastgeber Aruna und ein Freund des Hauses, der ein Tuk Tuk fährt, eine unglaubliche Hilfe. Aruna rief die Ambulanz, er und sein Freund begleiteten mich in die Klinik, blieben stundenlang um das Verwaltungsprozedere zu erledigen, sprachen mit dem Personal, versorgten mich mit Wasser... Nachts um 1 Uhr könnte ich abgeholt werden und beide kamen dazu wieder. Ich war soo dankbar und bin es weiterhin. Wunderbare, freundliche Menschen! Das Essen war köstlich, alles sauber, das Haus etwas kühl gestaltet, der letzte Rest des Weges etwas abenteuerlich. Ich werde Terrabella nicht vergessen!

Huiselijke sfeer. Comfortabele bedden. Zeer flexibele service, fijne uitbaters.

Koude en vochtige atmosfeer. Een chauffage zou erg fijn zijn.

Terrabella is a little treasure in Nuwara Eliya The manager there is the most kind, generous and funny guy! He made it really special for us regardless of the bad weather we got in this town(as expected because is the highest town of Sri Lanka in altitude. This “little England” town is indeed like England weather wise. We had dinner in the hotel, all prepared by the manager. Was delicious and very good price. Breakfast also delicious. The manager also helped us with arranging transport for our next location. the hotel decor takes you to England with a big fire place and a communal area for guests.

The washroom smelled a bit damp but with the high humidity in the town is to be expected.

WiFi on lower rooms but did get offer to move for one night which was appreciated but declined by us in the end
