Terrabella - Nuwara Eliya

So the list of items which went wrong: 1. The staff introduced himself as the owner and was helping me with the bags when the owner called me and it was a nightmare as we were three girls 2. The geyser wasn’t working and nuwara eliya was very cold and it was raining. Had to take a shower using the water from the kettle 3. The wifi was not working, room does not look like the pictures, the owner is not at all cooperative. Said sit at the reception and use the wifi if needed. 4. The conversion rate he used was for the black market far more than the real rate in Nuwara Eliya so that I pay him extra. 5. When i asked for water he said it is chargeable. And did not provide me with water. 6. When i asked for a tooth brush, he gave me one brush for three people. I’m not sure of the expectation which was to share brushes

Besonders gutes Frühstück und sehr gut ausgestattetes und sauberes Zimmer. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Außergewöhnlich nette Menschen dort, die sehr um die Gäste bemüht sind. Einschließlich des dazugehörigen TutTuk Fahrers, der eine wirklich gute Rundtour mit uns gemacht hat. Wir mussten am Abend die Ambulanz kommen lassen und wurden ins Krankenhaus gefahren. Der Hotelier und TuktukFahrer waren die ganze Zeit an userer Seite, haben übersetzt und waren um uns besorgt und bemüht. Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Auf Wunsch gibt es eine Heizung. Der Blick auf den See: ein bisschen was ist zu sehen... Frühstück und Abendessen reichlich und lecker.

Vi hade bokat ett rum för 3 vuxna och en 14-åring. När vi kom fick vi ett rum med en stor dubbelsäng och en enkelsäng. Ägaren hävdar att Kingsize säng rymmer 3 vuxna vilket jag inte varit med om någon annanstans. Vi fick hyra ett rum till på plats. Det är ett nybygge och området var bara några hus och låg en bit utanför stan så inte mycket att se. Den fina sjöutsikten kunde man se från en speciell position i trappan.

the upper room is good and spacious. nice quilt and bed.

don't choose the room downstairs. it's really cold. and something wrong with one room's hot water. poor sound insulation.

Excellent food, best dhal I had in Sri Lanka. A little expensive, room could do with a heater.
