Shower thermostat was faulty but we managed and the landlord thanked us for letting them know

A great place and wonderful location. Not too far from the centre of the city, but lovely and quiet. A nice place and excellent host! I would definitely book again if coming back to Belfast.

Tom was very hospitable He had got us milk, tea, biscuits and crisps My children especially appreciated the biscuits and Pringles

Although he was very resolutive, there were actual issues with the toilet that made our staying a bit unpleasant and I feel I must say it. The toilet wasn't working properly (no flushing) and the shower didn't work which is a basic thing. He finally managed to give us a partial solution so that we don't score it lower thanks to that.

Friendly host.

Not as advertised - this is not a 3 bedroom property, it’s two bedroom plus a sofa bed in the lounge. Electric shower temperature control does not work, the water was either freezing or roasting. This would not have been too much of a problem if the emersion tank was switched on but it wasn’t. When we did try to use the shower, water was dripping down the kitchen wall below. None of the downstairs ceiling lights worked due to the leaking shower (they’d been purposely isolated as a safety precaution).

I traveled with 4 kids and we slept 2 nights in the house, which was cute, clean, welcoming, with well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, the kids loved the bunk beds! Romantic little backyard with lights on the walls and raspberries. Lots of fresh towels, washing powder, books, the freezer was very good to have. Loved the coffee machine. Tom was really helpful, he recommended the Ulster museum which was brilliant!

The kids would have loved a bigger TV and Netflix.

Handy location

Too many things needed fixing. Had to call Tom back several times for, toilet not flushing, no heating and lights not working from previous water leakage from upstairs radiator. Give Tom his due he returned promptly to deal with the issues and was very pleasant. Very tired property.
