The Elderton, Newbiggin By The Sea, Northumberland

Excellent quiet location but not far from town and beach.

A good sized home suitable for family groups or friends. A thoughtful selection of items available in the home from games to items for the dogs. Good location, just a short walk from the beach and with easy access to Newcastle or Alnwick for example. Very responsive owners, who answered any questions we had within minutes.

What a beautiful property. The owners were so considerate and really went above and beyond to make the house comfortable. It was so well equipped, so spacious and had the most comfy beds ever! The location is brilliant. We would definitely come back.

This lovely house is ideally located minutes from the beach . The house itself is immaculate and very comfortable . Everything we needed for a family visit. A cot and highchair was provided for my youngest grandchild . We have stayed here before and that's why we chose again .

Very uncomfortable double bed new mattress definitely needed, poor sleep due to discomfort unfortunately.

The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything that we needed. Newbiggin's sandy beach is only a 5 minute walk from the house. Newbiggin has a nice selection of pubs, shops and restaurants.

We had an amazing stay at The Elderton! It was very clean, and every detail was thoughtfully considered to ensure our comfort. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the sea, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Communication with the host was excellent, making everything smooth and easy. We would happily come back again and highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

Good location. Clean and very comfortable. Quiet no noise from neighbours

Communication very good. Wi-Fi was a must for us as we needed to access home and business. Everything a family would want from games, online gaming etc. Neighbours very friendly. Newbiggin is a quiet place to stay which suited us both ate at the Eye of the needle along the prom very good food. In the evening we went down there for a couple of drinks. Also used the Ink Spot a local brewery come bar just near the house very friendly locals. If you want a day out there's Tynemouth and Amble lovely places to visit. Overall good value for money.

Beds needs toppers as they were quite uncomfortable we're not so young any more so arthritis kicks in on hard mattresses unfortunately, and no privacy in 2 main bedrooms when getting dressed and undressed suggest net curtains and during hot weather outside area not maintained so really no outside area to relax. Downstairs maserater needs attention as it was heard throughout the night. Also suggest a wall mounted hand bar to help you in and out of a high sided bath again age plays a part.
