The property is spacious and very well equipped. The beds were comfy and the rainfall shower was lovely

If I had to be picky I’d say the back yard could use a bit of beautification but it wasn’t really an issue in September.

The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was close enough to the town and beach for us to walk.

Thought the outside space could do with a revamp, especially as the weather was lovely. Small step into kitchen caught us out a few times, be aware.

I love the location, peaceful, love having the whole place to ourselves and let's not forget the smart TV which kept the Kids occupied.

BEAUTIFUL HOME IN AN GREAT LOCATION- 5 MINUTE WALK TO LOCAL SHOPS AND BEACH. THE HOUSE IS MUCH BIGGER THAN IT SEEMS ON THE IMAGES AND THE HOST IS VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. LOVELY LITTLE TOUCHES THROUGHOUT EVAN A WELCOME PACKS FOR THE DOG.

NOTHING WE DIDNT LIKE.IF I HAD TO GIVE ANY FEEDBACK IT WOULD BE TO HAVE A LITTLE BIT MORE KITCHENWARE- NO JUG TO MAKE SCRAMBLED EGG AND MAYBE A FEW OVEN TRAYS SO YOU CAN SEPARATE RAW FOOD FROM FROZEN FOOD WHILST COOKING.

Our whole experience of staying at The Elderton was exceptional. It was very easy to communicate with our host before our stay and any request was dealt with extremely quickly and in a very friendly manner, we felt that Sarah went out of her way to accommodate us. We were a mixed group of adults, staying in Newbiggin for a wedding. The house was ideally situated for the church and the reception, restaurants, shops and the beach. Everything we could have wanted was provided for our stay and clearly communicated to us beforehand which was very helpful. It was a particular delight for me to find cupboard space in the kitchen for our provisions, so often I find that cupboards are crammed full of unnecessary stuff and there is nowhere for us to store our food. The house is decorated and fitted out to an excellent standard. The electronic key safe was very useful for our group who were coming and going at different times. It was also easy to use. Parking was straight forward for our car driver and buses to Morpeth station run from the bottom of the road making travel easy for train travellers.

Can’t really think of anything, excellent stay

Lovely end terrace which is larger than it looks. Well equipped, comfortable beds , dishwasher washing machine iron . Clean towels and tea coffee sugar salt and welcoming pack included. Clean towels supplied too.Walking distance to the sea and village approximately 5 minutes away .Great communication from the owners
