The Piggery at Little Pig

Breakfast wasn't included but it was available from a lovely onsite cafe/farmhouse. The property was very deceptive from the outside as it looked a little worn, however inside it was very clean, comfortable/cosy and had everything we needed.

There wasn't anything we didn't like but felt our stay could have been improved with an in-house guide book of the surrounding area (restaurants /eating places /things to do) It would have also been an advantage to give onsite residents discounts on meals in the Farm cafe, food and staff there were lovely but we would have used it more if it had been a little cheaper.

Very clean and comfortable with well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, and 2 sinks. Nice breakfast bar with 4 stools, plenty of cutlery and crockery. Large television in lounge area and two bedrooms, both with a television each so everyone could watch what they want, plus an en-suite with good shower so no queuing if two couples or a family were staying. Good farmshop with nice cafe. Outdoor amenities were very good - lovely table and chairs, barbecue and smart glass veranda windbreak with good outlook onto central grass area and open views beyond. Very pleasant and helpful hosts.

It was central as I was visiting family, spotlessly clean, lovely bedding towels etc , would highly recommend

A really lovely lodge with everything you could need. Good location if you like to go out and about exploring. The breakfast in the adjoining farm shop was delicious and the multiple veggie options most appreciated

Beautiful decor and little touches to give a real feeling of luxury; comfy sofas and beds. Having 2 en-suites made it feel extra special. The kitchen was well equipped, and Emma and the staff at the Little Pig made us feel very welcome. Lovely breakfast on site at the Little Pig, but it was popular so book in before the morning. We only stayed one night to break up our journey home, but plan to return. Would definitely recommend to others! Thank you x

Nothing bad to report

Absolutely exceptional place , the quality of the place, the finishings the ease of booking , the communications , the grounds , everything in the piggery that you could of wanted and more , we will 100% return - sometimes you just find a place that you love this place was it for us so much thought put into the piggery leaving us wanting for nothing - thanks again
