Smugglers Snug

This was a perfect place for our family. Literally 100 yards from a pebble beach, a wonderful walk to Brighton Marina and with a ten minute journey to Brighton Pier. The place was tastefully decorated and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. Everything felt new.

Well equipped well decorated and stylish

The property is managed via Airhomelets and my contact for the stay was Alison. All contact was via email, Alison was very helpful and provided excellent support. A great feature for me was the Smugglers Snug phone app provided by Airhomelets. It really was useful in terms of having all the answers I needed at my finger tips, about the property, WiFi [essential for the children], the local area and of course all about the property. Alongside essential contact information if required [which we didn't due to the app]. I couldn't recommend the property and of course Alison highly enough. The property has all you could need, the location is great. We drove to Rottingdean but used local transport, the buses were frequent into Brighton and really easy to use and cost effective.

My only gripe was the cost of parking in Brighton was excessive, if I have researched properly prior to arrival I would have parked in Rottingdean and used the bus. As an example we paid £22 for up to 4 hours in Brighton, could park for 12 hours for £8.60 at the Cliff top carpark in Rottingdean and then it was £10.40 for a family multiple trip ticket into Brighton, valid for 24 hours. [Please check all costs rather than rely on my post!] This has nothing to do with Airhomlets the Smuggles Snug or Rottingdean.

Property was very tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean

Nothing I would have liked a mug to drink my tea out of.

The house was done up to an excellent standard and was very homely in its decor. It was also very well equipped which made it easy to feel at home straight away. The beds were both king sized which meant that we all got really good nights sleep - something we all truly appreciated. The location was brilliant for quick trips to the beach.

Parking was a bit of an issue, but we managed to find a spot, and we had been well informed in advance of possible streets for parking. There were separate bins for recycling in the kitchen but nowhere to dispose of it when we left which felt a bit silly. Some information about this in the welcome leaflet might be helpful.

The fact that larger mugs would if been nice

Beautifully decorated apartment! Very well presented and comfortable stay. Great location & view! The amenities were very thoughtful. Great communication with host.

It's a pity the accommodation does not come with a dedicated parking space.

We loved this large, spacious, light, characterful apartment: its sea views, super-comfortable king-size beds, walk-in showers, well-equipped kitchen and lovely, roomy sitting room.

Nothing! Such thought has gone into making the apartment a welcoming, well appointed bolthole. We could happily hav stayed there for ever! The location is superb too - so close to the beach.
