Very small room very bad neighbourhood

The location is fantastic—you can easily explore the city on foot. There’s a 24-hour shop just a minute away from the apartment, which is super convenient. Communication with the owner was excellent; they were always quick to respond.

The virtual key system is a good idea but wasn’t always reliable. I was a bit disappointed with the storage; there was none available, and the only chest of drawers was filled with towels and bed sheets. We specifically chose this place as a non-smoking property, but there was a noticeable smell of smoke when we arrived. Also, tall guests may find the low bathroom door a bit inconvenient. No hairdryer FYI. Despite paying for a late check-out, two people entered the apartment at 11 am, which was quite disruptive. Overall, for the price we paid for four nights, I expected a better experience.

Great location close to Lavapiés metro and a 15 minute walk to Atocha station. The apartment was small but it had everything we needed.

The 4 flights of stairs to reach the apartment at the end of each day was hard . The low ceiling over the bed was also tricky for us tall people .
