The Retreat, luxury studio apartment in Bath with parking

The Retreat apartment was the perfect stay for 3 adults over 3 days in Bath. The sofa converted into a comfortable 3rd bed, the apartment was tastefully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. The apartment is located downstairs and has separate private entrance. Thank you Peter and Sara for making your home available to travellers.

A metal staircase leads down to the apartment which, when wet, can be slippery. I would suggest a non-slip rubber tread be applied to each step edge.

The property was clean and tastefully decorated.

The parking was roadside and was a fare distance from the actual property. Furthermore, the suggested parking is limted resulting in myself hacing to park further away.

Everything is perfect.

Although a little bit outside of the city (30-minute walk to the centre), this is a clean and comfortable apartment. The kitchen was well-supplied, and parking was easy.

Great place for family plus dog to stay while visiting Bath. Modern, comfortable annex, private from main house. Very near a Park and Ride if you are not up for the walk into Bath.

Unfortunately you can hear the owners upstairs walking around all the time and not really appreciated late at night when trying to sleep. For older people climbing down 10 metal stair's outside with suitcases is not easy.

Property is not near to the citycentre, unusual power cut happened at 1am in the night went on till 8am morning. We called bath power grid department they said there is no power cut in the area reported please check your MCB. At 8am electricity came then suddenly at 9am it again went off. Weird!! Also, there was no one to attend the guest. Not even at the time of welcome.
