Geneva Cottage single rooms

The rooms and bedding was clean.

This property had cameras in the hallway and kitchen without telling us this would be the case which made us feel unbelievably uncomfortable and unsafe. The back door didn't lock properly and just had two bolts across instead of a real lock. The lights didn't work properly. The floors were dirty and we had a sleepless night because of how unsafe we felt. Do not book this accommodation unless you enjoy being filmed by cameras and don't like locking your doors properly.

The pond was nice

Terrible room layout TV constantly having to be moved when maneuvering around the room. Only one toilet roll for the whole house. Ridiculous rule about not going in the kitchen past 10pm restricting access to fridge facilities. Bathroom lock only just usable. Woken up constantly due to the other guest on our floor banging and slamming all night and due to thin walls hearing any conversations going on in the house. Not even a hand towel provided in the bathroom. Overall very disappointing and trues to use looks to hide the flaws.

Nothing was wrong

We made our own breakfast. The house was larger than we thought it would be, as was our bedroom. The kitchen was the same, with every amenity. The small garden with its two fish ponds and bridge to summer house was charming.

Just the weather, and standing at the bus stop hoping the bus would soon come along!
