Geneva Cottage single rooms

Accommodated me at last minute, had super communication and was kind enough to allow me to extend my checkout to be able to go to my interview with no demand for extra fees which was pleasant

The most amazing couple that invest much of their care, time and devotion to providing this steeped with history place to stay. My room (4) was massive, clean and very comfortable. I travelled alone, it would have also been perfectly comfortable for a couple, with a choice of twin or 'giant' double on offer... Situated on the ground floor, I think there are maybe 3 upstairs rooms, it had two external windows so lots of available daylight. Apparently the 'cottage' was originally built hundreds of years ago, perhaps as a gate house for the manor... That as all changed now, as at some stage so will the ownership as all we can ever be is temporary custodians of wherever we choose to be... In the meantime if you have the chance, visit Darlington have a look around, go see Durham all very enjoyable and easy to do and take advantage of Shona and Adem's hospitality and care as a base, it was, as I find most things to be, thoroughly worthwhile... As a couple Shona and Adem have plans of their own, I'm sure they would be happy to share them with you... All in all very good accommodation, lovingly provided at very reasonable prices, not at all badly located, what more do you need? Best wishes Alan...

It could never be more than it is, perhaps an en-suite could be accommodated in room 4, but personally I don't feel they are necessary... All facilities are 'Shared' where ever you stay, aren't they?

The property was very clean and was kept clean throughout my stay. It was a convenient location. The host was excellent.

Comfortable and clean. Good communication

The location and friendliness of the host was amazing they were very helpful despite me checking in quite late.

I struggled to gain access to the off-roam parking BUT the host was on hand to support me with this. again as it was dark, it made it more challenging.
