Elena Apartments - Girona

The apartment is very comfortable, exactly according to the pictures!

I really enjoyed the apartment and the location, everything is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The apartment is in the heart of Girona old town so everything is close and convenient

It's no one's fault,but be prepared for the sounds that can be heard from the street

The apartment was lovely, and the exposed brickwork fit in with the architecture of Girona old town. It's spacious and comfortable, and there are enough utensils to be able to prepare meals. The location is great also, it's a few minutes walk from the centre of the old town, so it's in a quieter area, but the bedroom is right next to a street, and people dragging luggage on the cobbled streets can be really loud. There's a Mexican bar/restaurant next door if you're in a hurry, but the great cafes and restaurants are just 5-10 minutes walk away. The host Omer was very quick and helpful in answering my questions, and was able to recommend storage locations and taxi firms. The wifi works perfectly, and if you're feeling lazy you can sign into Netflix on the TV and lay down on the comfy sofas. I also really like the convenience of not needing to carry keys, as you can unlock the building and apartment doors with your phone! Girona is so nice, and I'd love to stay here again on my next cycling holiday.

A few things needed attention, which could easily have been fixed. Can be noisy at night.

Excellent location in the old part of the city. Can explore the city in peace and quiet before the coach trips arrive. And then go out for a walk in the surrounding countryside :-)

The otherwise detailed instructions for access on arrival could helpfully explain that the padlock icon must be dragged to the right.

Location was great only problem was the parking, ended up a long way away from the property. Great for exploring Girona if your on foot and great value for money. A little bit tired the decorations ect but still not that it would spoil your holiday!

Code entrance was a bit silly but got there in the end, decoration could do with a touch up!. Minor points dont let this distract you from booking!
