Cozy rural lodge, amazing views close to Holmfirth

The location was amazing ! We were sat above the clouds. We could see beautiful scenery and the house itself was clean and looked after. Highly recommended 👌

No where to let the dog out without having him on a lead

The views were to die for and we were lucky with the weather

The property felt tired, with a mish mash of furniture, needs modernization, no bedside lamps, or lamp in main area, filing cabinet next to double bed not ideal, double bed not very comfortable and no good for us tallies... Gate has dropped and needs lifting every time by rusty bolt, garden seat broken, just needs TLC... Not keen on milk sachets in the fridge as not sure how long they'd been there.... No welcome folder, just a handwritten note pegged to the wall with a few do's and don'ts..

Absolutely stunning views and location. Clear instructions from host. Property well equipped, clean and cosy. Very family friendly. Kids enjoyed watching the animals.

We were really happy with the property on a whole. If I had to pick one thing then I found the master mattress quite firm but that’s just my opinion.
