Hot Water Beach Bure Wera

Loved the setting. Also, that it was so close to the beach.

No door on the toilet.

Loved the location, sweet little hide away garden & so close to the beach.

Unfortunately the bed was really hard, not a great sleep. The light above the bed was full of dust & fluff, plus the edges of the room.

Shower tiles need a major clean with eximold. Shower curtain was a nuisance blowing towards you all the time. Didn't like the Shower at all. Bedroom needs a TV. And a microwave would be beneficial. A bit overpriced for what you get. Would benefit having a door mat to be able to wipe your feet before entering as the floors are all wood. Would also help to put a bin in the bathroom for toiletry items, as there's a bin for the spade.dont mean to pick on everything, but with the amount you pay. These are suggestions that will help people's stay more enjoyable. Thank you.

Oven wasn't clean. No oven tray. Glasses weren't clean. One champagne flute, not two, better to have none. Otherwise great!

Great location right on the beach. It was private and pretty to wake up to in the morning.

We went in mid-July - weather was sunny but chilly morning and night - similar to Christchurch. The facilities at the property are great - it is very modern and has been tastefully decorated. I can just imagine being there in the middle of summer with the big wide balcony sliders open, sitting on the deck in the comfortable chairs enjoying the property, the beach and facilities around. Bed was really comfortable, the shower was amazing, and the kitchen is really well laid out. Liked that the tv was a smart tv and had logins for netflix, prime and a few other channels (you don't get that very often, so great - it has sky sports so watched the All Blacks vs France 3rd match).

This was the first time we had ever been to Hot Water Beach, we were there in the middle of July so very wintery, we loved everything about the place, but just found the first night that the heating not sufficient for that time of the year - after first night we left the heating going all day (an modern oil type heater) and the room was very cosy and felt great (probably not economical though - sorry owners). Our only complaint though. In the summer or warmer weather this place would be idyllic and everything that a kiwi holiday house should be.
