Seaside Cottage, Gili Air

Our staying at this a cute little cottage was just magical, we loved everything about it! Just a few steps from restaurants, spa, and the snorkeling equip.. btw we had the best snorkeling experience ever swimming just 7minutes to the right side of the beach (facing the ocean) beautiful corals, fishes and TURTLES 🥹🥰✨ John is friendly and helpful! We are definitely going back to spend more time at this magical island.

The location is magical. You’re gonna fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake up to the delicious blue right outside the window! The cottage has been recently and thoughtfully renovated. They’ve made the most of the cosy space with the layout, even managing to have a comfortable patio to relax on. With it comes a little patch of beach just outside that you could claim for yourself - it even has a little table and bench. The owner, Jon runs a yoga centre in the middle of the island. He’s extremely warm and welcoming, overall plenty of tips to enjoy the island. If, like me, you’ve always fantasised about a house on the beach, this little cottage is just for you!

Haha the shower is a bit of a joke really, just a little stream of water that was extremely temperamental - there were times when it was only drops of water coming out. A compromise that I was happy to make given everything else :) Word of warning - unlike me, make sure you stop in the middle to collect your keys for check in. I paid for a ride all the way to the cottage to only realise the keys were all the way back. Not the best walk in the heat after a hectic ferry ride.

Amazing standalone cottage, right on the seafront, with amazing attention to details. Makes you feel like you have your own little Villa on the beach. Well located next to really nice bars and restaurants. Jon is a great host, very attentive and caring.

This a dream home. John is kind and delightful, made us feel right at home and was available on call for any assistance we needed. The place is clean, cosy and located in the most lovely area right on the beach. Restaurants and spas are a few steps away, and the hammocks are perfect for watching the stars at night while listening to the relaxing ocean waves. It is the most beautiful place to spend sunset. Thank you so much John for creating such a wonderful experience.

so beautiful 😻 just by the ocean, and it has its own little section by the sea 🌊 which is stunning. Jon was very nice and communicative and his staff was also very friendly. would definitely come back.
