Good location and room

Some of thre advertised facilities are still not working. Plunge pool and sauna still not working. I stayed 2 weeks ago and they didn't work the either. No iron or ironing board .could not iron my cloths for the work event.

We had fun in the pool and gym. Room was warm and organised. Everything was there what we needed like oven fridge utencils etc. We had great time !!

I was so comfortable for my stay. The sauna was so necessary and compared to the experiences of my peers who were also attending the course I had a great and affordable place to stay.

The location was very central. The apartment was very warm. The building was very secure with key cards needed to enter and a key needed to get into the room. External sound proofing was pretty good. You couldn't hear all the homeless people in the area screaming at each other and smashing things unless you had the single opening window/door open. Nice little gated bit that needed a key card to gain access Courtenay Place without having to walk around the block from the apartment. The parking offered at an external parking lot was reasonably cheap compared to other parking options in Wellington. The washer/dryer was handy. The pressure on the shower was very good. The wifi was good and specific to the apartment. The apartment was quite clean. Easy to check in and out with a code to a lockbox to get keys.

* Every surface in the apartment was an exercise in torture. The bed was like a slab of concrete and the couch-bed.. I don't even know how to describe something so incredibly uncomfortable, it was like staying in a nightmare. Sitting on that couch-bed was like being tortured, I can't even imagine how painful it would be to sleep on. The huge bits of wood running through it were horrific. I've never gone on holiday and come home in more pain than I was in when I left. Holidays are supposed to be relaxing, but my wife was in so much pain she cried every morning after trying to sleep or perch on one of these surfaces. She was so upset she wanted us to just leave and book an actual hotel to get some relief from the pain she was experiencing. It feels like we need a holiday to recover from our "fancy and stylish" holiday in this apartment. * The private facilities were not very private. The pool and sauna had children in it every time we passed it and couldn't be used before 8am or after 6pm, which made them basically useless for anyone who was going out in the day time. I might have enjoyed a sauna or a swim after a day out, but I certainly didn't want to share it with random children from other apartments, and the no use after 6pm made it pointless anyway (although, the restriction on the operating hours didn't seem to apply to the kids using the pool whenever they wanted to). The property could be a bit clearer with their description of "private" and also mention the time restrictions on usage of facilities. * There was no air conditioning of any kind. At times the apartment was stifling and hot, but there was no way to cool it down other than to open the door (window didn't open). When you did open the balcony-less door (weird choice for the 6th floor) you could hear homeless people screaming at each other and smell a lot of different foods mixed together which was quite unpleasant.

It was surprisingly quiet considering it was right downtown, which was another thing to like about it, it was in the heart of the city with a lot of locations & attractions in walking distance. It's a newer building which is nice, and the apartment was very spacious.

The parking situation is less than ideal. A few blocks away isn't uncommon for Wellington, but I tried to organize the parking ahead of time, driving well out of my way the day before my stay to pay for it in person, which didn't work, luckily as I later found out (but wasn't told up front) when trying to find the parking lot, the street it's on is closed for significant construction so can't even park there anyway. Was also pretty disappointed that the hours for the sauna use were 8-6pm and when I was finally able to take time in the middle of the day to attend, they were doing maintenance work on it as well so never even got to use the sauna, which was the entire reason I chose this location.

Great location, easy to access and really quiet for that part of town

It would have been good to have another seat in the lounge area, and coffee provided.
