Cheerful two bedroom cottage in the Forest of Dean

We liked the little extra's that were there to make our stay easier. We found the cottage comfortable and enjoyed eating outside in the courtyard/garden

Being really picky and probably pathetic a footstool would have been nice.

Lovely cottage, very lean and tidy. Weather was great as well.

Nothing at all

Cosy rooms and comfortable beds, garden was also a great space to relax in the evenings. Kitchen was well equipped which is uncommon.

Garden gate was a bit tough to open as it’s overgrown.

The cottage was clean and everything we could have needed was provided. The bed was very comfortable and the chocolate biscuits and milk provided were most welcome, thank you Hannah for those. Good wifi signal throughout the property which isn't always the case when we are staying away. All in all we enjoyed our stay at this cottage. We will be returning!!

No parking at the property but this is only a minor issue as parking is available just a few minutes walk away. The only other thing we didn't like was having to leave to come home.

Loved the ambience and the ease of the property,, location was ok and places easy to get too

The rooms are bigger than I'd expected. I particularly appreciated the quality of everything – there was no need to go shopping for a kitchen knife for example, because the kitchen is well equipped with decent pans, utensils, etc.

It was great to have a stairgate but it's a bit tricky to be moving the single gate between the brackets at the top or the bottom, depending where you are. Parking is also quite tricky because the lane is quite narrow, with various notices in windows asking you not to park outside houses.
