the room was clean, comfortable and in a good state of repair. The kitchen area was well equipped with a kettle, microwave, fridge and hobs, with a welcome pack including tea bags, coffee, milk and biscuits. Being student accommodation, it isn’t luxurious or brand new but it is perfectly pleasant and excellent value for money. Quiet, especially given it’s in a main road.

The location

It had a strange smell in the lifts & room. Bring a spare pillow as only 1 per person, the bedding was below average. Shower wasn’t great & no hot water, in a wet room.

Not much I’m afraid.

Registering photo id on line was a faff. The room was cold, brightly lit. Uncomfortable mattress and a thin duvet with a rather old (clean) cover, and thin cheap pillows. No light in the bathroom. Curtain hanging off the rail at one end. Apart from that, all good!

Room space and quiet enough.

Blood stain on bed sheet! Plus black dirt! I was bitten by something! Shower drain didn’t work so after putting it on for 1 minute, bathroom flooded! I couldn’t use the shower or toilet! (Moved to another room with same issues!) Milk in room for tea gone out of date by a year! Hair everywhere!

Check-in was easy, the location was good (near the city centre and with good transport links), the affordability is great. The room was larger than I expected.

The room smelled a bit and the pans were so scratched I didn't feel comfortable using them. The bedding was thin and overused.
