GBOur third time staying at the Brown Box, so that says it all. Ideal location for visiting lovely Whitby.

GBLocation was perfect for visiting family, rooms were a good size, and cleanliness was spot on. I would recommend changing the dining room to another Bedroom, we never used it, so wasted space, and would be better for putting children in, so they're closer to the toilet. Hosts were really easy to deal with, decided to stay an extra night last minute and couldn't have been easier.
Bathroom a bit small, but shower was more than good enough. No thermostat to set temperature on the heating, so constantly adjusting water temp to keep flat warm, switching boiler on and off was a little bit of a faff.

GBGBClean, warm and comfortable. Ideal location for buses to Whitby and Saltburn. Handy Co-op across the road open till 10pm, and a very nice bakers next door . Lovely, friendly hosts.
