GBSituated above a lovely gift shop owned by the couple who also own the apartment. Loftus is a great base for visiting the nearby towns of Saltburn and Whitby, great regular bus links right outside the apartment. Also a handy supermarket across the road. Spacious apartment with everything you need for a self catering break. Watch your head upstairs if you're above average height, as low doorways and beams, my partner learned the hard way 🤕.
Be very careful of the back outside stairs, as very slippery when wet. We carried our little dog up them, as he couldn't manage them. Noisy and leaking hot tap in the kitchen. I told Adrian when we were leaving and he then messaged me to say it was fixed as they'd been waiting for a plumber to look at it. Didn't cause us any problem, as boiled the kettle instead. Property could do with an update, and again Adrian the owner said they are planning on doing this in the near future. It sufficed our needs perfectly.

It really needs some TLC, as kitchen doors & work top need changing, taps in kitchen & bathroom need sorting as flow is intermittent & windows in both rooms are a little frustrating to open as locking button plays up. Some chairs in double bedroom would be nice & mattress & pillows could do with replacing as feels worn, living room sofas need replacing for something more comfortable, but it’s all just general TLC upkeep!
GBAbsolutely fantastic stay here, was greeted with some essentials nice little touch excellent location extremely clean and everything you need for a few days away would recommend this for anyone that's needs chill time will be booking again very soon thanks again xx

FRA big flat on 2 floors, with everything we needed and nice welcome touches from the hosts. It was handy having a coop just across the road.
The noise of the road - but we're country folk and used to the total silence! We found the beds OK, but not hugely comfortable
GBGBPerfect location. Spacious flat with comfy sofas and a good dining room. In the centre of a beautiful little town with a free car park nearby. Supermarket, takeaways and pubs on your doorstep.
The bed was rather soft. Also a colander needed in the kitchen.

Entrance access and the yard at the rear of the property. Mattresses are a little thin and would benefit from a topper for comfort.
