Cosy apartment by the sea

The little home from home touches, like coffee and tea supplied, a small bottle of milk left for us, lots of cleaning products and hand soap etc. And there are lots of games, puzzles, dvd’s and cd’s as well for families to use.

The parking space is very small, although you can find parking on nearby roads if needed.

Compact but mainly fine, size wise. Kids bedroom was warm and the beds comfortable for them.

The main bedroom was freezing despite having all heaters on and the quilt wasn’t big enough for 2 people, so one of us slept in the living room on the sofa bed with random blankets. On second night whomever was upstairs played loud music from about 2am until we left at about noon. No sleep for anyone that night. The bathroom was tiny, toilet and sink not full size, and shower very old and cracked. Bathroom generally freezing, damp and with mould around the ceiling and walls. No outside space for the dog to go, just had to walk the streets. Not walkable distance to shops or harbour as up and down lots of big hills. Certainly no sea view. We left a day early, mainly because of the location and the rubbish bed situation.

It had a TV and the shower was nice and hot . The location was ok.

The pillows on the beds was not clean, was very stained. Fire in lounge didn't work , damp in main bedroom. . Cooker took ages to cook any thing. Towels that was left didn't look very clean. Kitchen glass chopping board was all stained brown. Overall I think it needs money spent in there to update it. Vacuum was old and didn't work very well. I really think it could do with a really good clean in there as there was dust every where and crumbs and dirt under the cushions on the settee. Also needs shower door fixing as it falls off , although she put notice on the door about it , it's not good enough, when some one could get hurt and we had children there with us.parking space was very small and difficult to park on as there is a step, and neighbours put bins in the way to make it harder to park. Also front door was hard to lock and once closed kept blowing open. Fan heater in bathroom didn't work full of dust and plaster over switch. All in all don't think it was worth the amount of money we paid.

Very dirty,cooker unable to use as when checked oven still had bits of food in ,extremely cold no central heating,very uncomfortable smell of damp throughout,went there for christmas it is totally unsuitable as a holiday let.

Heater in the shower room wasn’t working making it a little cold. Also it tripped out the electrical circuit for the kitchen.

Very clean , nicely furnished appreciated the milk tea coffee

Well equipped property. Had everything you could need, even had washing up sponge, bin bags, washing up liquid etc The shower was lovely, warm and powerful

Some appears of the property appear dated, The springs in the double were a bit creaky

Very clean. Lovely host. Great location.

Has a home from home feel, lovely apartment. Host responded to messages quickly and was helpful.
