The Artist's House Wanaka

I liked the art in the lounge and the spacious kitchen, the bathroom was really nice and the views are typical central Otago beautiful mountains and even some snow.

Thought I was getting breakfast inclusive, fortunately I had some food with me and managed to make my own.

Sonia was super nice and lovely, the house was perfect, and the design with everything were 10/10 !!!! It make me feel home, if I have time can stay more I would love to. I'll be back for sure, thank you :)

I cannot describe how wonderful my stay at the artist's house was. Everthing was just perfect. All the art in this house was amazing. The kitchen, the bathroom, the bedroom and livingroom were so well equipped, it could not be better. Sonia did a really great job to make us feel at home. And relaxing in the hot tub to watch the stars at the end of the day, was just wow!! This accomodation is pure art and i'll highly recommand!!

An amazing property. Interesting art pieces everywhere. Great spa pool, garden, outdoor areas and outdoor cooking. A special place. We only booked as we couldn’t get anything in Wānaka. More expensive than we would have chosen for a one night road trip stop, you really need to spend a few nights to get the benefit of all the wonderful facilities. Would be fabulous for a family get together.

At first we didn’t really want to stay here because of the communal facilities, wanting a more private experience, but after talking to Sonia the host we decided we should stay, such a great decision. We slept in the master bedroom which was amazing and had everything we need for our private experience. And the rest of the house was beautiful, clean, spacious and had such a homely feel. The house was so well equipped and looked after we didn’t feel anything was lacking. Also good location not far from the city but the quietness of a small town. Sonia was an amazing hostess, so welcoming and cheerful. We enjoyed it so much we even came back for a second time :)

This is one of the most thoughtully created properties immaginable. Every detail has been carefully considered. If I were to design a home / AirBnB property, this would be my model. The common areas, the grounds, the bedroom itself - all are beautiful and in perfect condition. What a freat experience, though all-too-brief in my case since I stayed only one night and had to leave before dawn.
