Entire house, Crambeck,Welburn, near Castle Howard

The house was excellent, roomy, clean, well equipped and a great location. The welcome hamper was such a lovely surprise and included so many useful groceries-a really lovely touch

Fantastic location. Beautiful quiet village. Everything you could need in the kitchen. Nice garden. Met by Naomi who was very welcoming and a lovely basket of bread coffee jam and cake!

Description says 5 bedroom but there are 4 one of which is a high cabin bed not particularly good for an adult. Didn’t suit our needs very well but we managed. The fridge in the kitchen was completely full of herbs and spices- a lot of them well out of date? There was also a lot of food that had been left by previous people. The curtains in one of the bedrooms were too thin and let in all the light ( at 4am) also curtains in the other single fell down as no finial. Kitchen tap needs tightening as sways about. No working light bulbs in dining room and only 2/6 in the living room. Sorry to list so much but these are things that can be easily improved and it would make such a difference. Having said all this we loved the house and would stay again if Naomi would have us 😀

Couldn’t seem to get normal terrestrial TV On the TV

We were four family members of varying ages and found that the property far exceeded our expectations for the price. The house was perfect for our needs and was spotlessly clean. We appreciated having some basics provided for us to get us started, it was a really nice touch. The surrounding area has so many activities which are east to reach by car we wish we had planned to be there for longer than we did. We would certainly recommend the property and hope to return in the future.

The house is very comfortable. Everything you might need is inside, and more. There was even a basket of groceries to welcome us. The carpets are very nice and cosy ! the garden is really nice as well.

Excellent location , quiet area and good facilities. We greatly appreciated the welcome groceries which was a very kind gesture.

Single beds not comfortable particularly the non divan beds and bunk bed unsuitable for an adult as too high . A dishwasher would also be ideal rather than a non working refrigerator used as a herb / spice storage unit.

Lovely large homely house. Had everything we needed and hosts were very hospitable. Location perfect for a trip to Flamingoland; we'll be back!
