"Perfect place for four generations of our family to congregate!"

We were attending a family wedding nearby so the Wheelhouse was the perfect place for us all to stay for a few days. Very comfortable and relaxing. Quiet area and comfy beds.

Being on a working farm there were a lot of flies, especially whenever we had any food out. But the price to pay for being out in the country for peace and quiet!

"Amazing property with everything you need for an enjoyable stay."

The property was simply stunning. Far exceeded my expectations. It was cosy yet spacious and a fabulous outside area to enjoy. There was even a selection of of games and books for us to make use of.

There was nothing that I didn’t like. The only thing that would perhaps improve it although I must stress that this wasn’t an issue for us, would be for a second bathroom to be installed.

"We had a wonderful weekend in Wheelhouse Cottage, it was everything that we wanted."

The location was fabulous, just where we needed to be. It was on a very quiet country lane, but only a few minutes drive from Thirsk. York was about 40 minutes away, again, an easy drive.

Our only criticism would be the poor wifi , but not a huge problem as we were out or busy for most of the time.

"Absolutely brilliant."

We only stayed one night. However I have stayed in many places and this is the first place that nothing niggled. Need to bring the family for Christmas
