Ocean's Creek Beach Hotel

Comfortable room/friendly staff/suitable for family or friends holidays/close to the beaches.

Noisy environment/rather suitable for a holiday. Average food/little choice for buffets and the menu

The resort and facilities were good

The breakfast menu is the same the 7 days we stayed there ... There was too many flies in the food counter/ buffet area.. though the room services cleaned the room they did not restock the complimentary items including water .. we had to call and ask multiple times.. used milk & sugar sachets were kept back with the unused ones ..

Welcome was very smooth,warm and quick…a big thanks to navina at the reception for her help and info,accompanied us till the room,really appreciate.

I got the bad experience of power supply being cut off three times and last was during the night around 1 am…was quite a bad moment due to summer being very hot in the room.

The hotel had a really great and fun vibe at the pool - nice and tasteful music playing, and the pool bar was really fun and something we've not seen at other hotels in Mauritius yet. The family room had a great setup- we especially enjoyed the little sitting area, shower and bath setup, and the kids lived the bunk beds. The room was decorated very tastefully and overall the room was very quiet. We were situated at the far end of the hotel, so we found the room to be extremely quiet, but in addition, I do suspect the sliding doors leading out to the balcony are soundproof too, which added to the appeal of the room. It was very convenient to be able to order room service all day, as our kids are always hungry! We also loved how much shade there was around the pool all day, facilitated by a combination of strategically placed umbrellas and day beds, as well as plenty of tall trees. The kids club was probably also the most entertaining kids club we've encountered in Mauritius - and the fact that it had such a large indoor area (with aircon!) and a variety of activities for toddlers, made it a very fun hangout place for the kids. We will definitely consider coming back for another 2-night stay.

My husband didn't enjoy how soft the bed was, but I think the mattress topper could easily be removed. The alcoholic drinks were great, but food was OK- not bad, but probably only a 6 or 7 / 10. It was a bit annoying that we could only start swimming after 9 each day - as the kids were already up by 6am every morning!!
