Gileston Manor Luxury B&B

Booked this for my Son and daughter in law Both were blown away with the luxury Manor room and all facilities Thank you we will hopefully visit in the near future

Women that greeted us was lovely and the manor looked after all my needs and my sons and left us to be and chill, wonderful place

Loved the beautiful house and grounds as well as the lovely Versailles bedroom. The place is a lovely low key location and just a little bit quirky as well. The grounds and gardens are lovely with white peacocks, guinea fowl and black swans present. The lovely alpacas are a joy as well. The walled garden with it's Japanese theme garden and palm gardens are a total oasis. The "honesty" bar was nice touch and we used that and had a "sundowner" looking at the view across to North Devon. Wonderful. Close to a great pub - The Blue Anchor at Aberthawe is a bonus. The continental breakfast pre-ordered the night before was very good quality and there was plenty of choice.

Very little that we can say here as we really enjoyed our stay. We had a couple of communication issues before actually arriving at the Gileston Manor which was a bit worrying before the start of the stay but once we arrrived we could not fault the service and friendliness of the staff to us and all were very helpful during our stay.

Our stay was beyond expectations! The hostess was incredibly attentive to all our needs, and the hotel itself — along with its stunning location — took our breath away. We’re already planning our next visit. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel we’ve ever experienced.

Everything! What an amazing beautiful hotel. Bath in the room was gr8 Beautiful gardens with alpacaes and peacocks. Delicious breakfast Friendly and helpful staff.
