Casa Xanadu Seville - Boutique rooms with terraces

Our room was on the top floor with a private terrace. We shared a bathroom with one other room, which was never a problem. There’s also a larger, communal terrace on the roof. We really like the older building and the communal kitchen has pretty much everything you might need to fix snacks and light meals. Lastly, the staff were great! We were able to communicate effectively through WhatsApp and were able to drop our bags before check-in.

Not necessarily a con, but you will be walking a lot to get the city center. There are some nearby bus stops, but we didn’t find them very convenient. Also, be aware that there is no elevator so you may need to carry your bags up multiple floors.

Building is well renovated. bed is comfortable. room is spacious. location can be accessible easily by public transportation.

you may wait for someone else due to shared bathroom.

10/10 recommend the place to stay. It is a beautiful house, well connected to the city with bus stops, metro and trams within 2 minutes of walking. Private terrace was such a great add-on, perfect sneak-peak into the bustling street around us. Convenient stores and shopping plaza within 5 minutes walk. The property is absolutely gorgeous and very warm and cosy. The host is super gracious and I would definitely come back to stay at this place.

The property is nicely decorated and well-kept, and it's in a good location. However, the beds and mattresses are in desperate need of replacement. The uncomfortable mattress gave me back pain, and the beds were so noisy that it made sleeping difficult. We could even hear bed noises from other guests' rooms, which was very disturbing. The property also needs better cleaning to truly make it a pleasant place to stay.
