La Mona Loiza Apartment Complex by Stay with Bear

The location was absolutely ideal for our needs—it offered easy access to everything we wanted without being too close to the tourist area. We loved the convenience of nearby local restaurants, a supermarket, and charming businesses. The accommodations were well-equipped with all the essential amenities for an extended stay. The staff exuded professionalism and friendliness, always ready to assist us with whatever we needed. Isabel went above and beyond to ensure our stay was truly enjoyable.

The steps leading down from the front of our apartment tend to become quite slippery during rainy weather. Unfortunately, it appears to rain almost every morning, even if just for a short while, which makes navigating the steps a bit challenging. We have reached out to the manager about this concern, and while they have made efforts to address the issue, the solution has not yet proven effective. We would appreciate exploring a long-term solution to enhance safety and prevent any potential accidents, as my wife experienced a near miss on one occasion. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. Cool room thanks to the air conditioning. Secured entry to the building. Well situated between Old San Juan and the airport. Also close to the beach but it also has a nice little pool. Great communication and quick responses. Staff was super helpful and very kind meeting all our needs.

Location and cleanliness

Room next to main area. The “we have it be quiet from 1030pm to 730am” was not a real thing.

The apartment is equipped for ironing and has a communal washer and dryer. There is a pool although small. The location is very convenient to access some attractions in the city

The bathroom is very very small. It's impossible to take a shower without rubbing against the shower curtain

We loved the location It was near everything.

Only problem if you rent a car you do need to look for parking and walk a couple blocks on the weekend, but still worth it.
