Cosy Welsh Cottage in St Davids Centre with Garden

Perfect for exploring Pembrokeshire, easy walk to pubs and St David’s cathedral.

The cottage is superbly clean and tidy. Bed linen and mattresses are extremely comfortable. There isn’t a thing you could need in the kitchen, everything is provided, even milk and Welsh Cakes on arrival! All four bedrooms are well equipped, and the whole house was heated very well. Both showers very good, plenty of towels & mirrors! There is choice of dvds and Xbox, with a tv in the master room too! The property location is perfect. There is a supermarket 3 minutes walking to your left , 2 great pubs to your right! Overall this stay was everything we had hoped, on top of that the owners were very quick to provide any information, and very kind, completing a fantastic mini break.

Characterful great location so comfortable and well equipped

Just a little more attention to cleanliness especially under bed and bed side lamps. Easy fixes then it’s top notch.

The location was good, not too far from anything you’d need. The hosts left a great information/welcome pack, and some Welsh cakes for our arrival. Good communication from the hosts, and they were willing to help solve problems, (but there wasn’t really anything they could have fixed in time for our stay). There are some nice touches like some dvds, books and Netflix and decor to make the place feel homely. Plenty of sofa space, great sized rooms with lots of storage, and bonus games room.

The smell of damp was really quite overwhelming, particularly in the downstairs bedroom and games room. The bathroom downstairs smelt of urine. The front and back doors are quite stiff, so very noisy when you’re trying to be quiet late at night. The double beds were horrendous, I couldn’t sleep in the same bed for 2 nights, luckily there was a spare bed in the twin room which was comfy. For various reasons my friend stayed on the sofa for both the nights we were there. There is conflicting information between the original cottages details, like the cottage number and the WiFi network. We had to move the heavy gaming table to be able to plug it in, the fußball table was partly broken, and we couldn’t use the dart board because the darts were broken. Just little complaints, but they did add up.

Great location and we loved the outdoor games room with the children.

The beds unfortunately ruined the property for us as they were very uncomfortable and noisy not allowing for a good sleep. The owner has said they will try improve this for future customers.

Very central to all St David's had to offer, cathedral, walks, good pubs etc.. Brilliant trip to Scomer Island. We needed a large cottage for 4 single and a double. Adults only, so this fitted the bill. Large kitchen great. Good value for money. Prompt reply when the dishwasher needed fixing.

. Adults were in the room for children found mattresses insufficient. An extra blanket would have been great for them. Double room ensuite also bed uncomfortable . TV remote didn't seem to work.
