AUGreat apartment which felt quite spacious. Great location in the old town. Would definitely stay again
Booking.com needs to update the details for the lock box as what they sent is different to what it actually is

DO NOT BOOK HERE! Arrival process was difficult. Given incorrect code by booking.com and had to call the owner 3 times in addition to messaging on the booking.com site before finally getting through to him. After gaining access, I noticed brown marks on the toilet seat, a sizeable crack on the underside of seat, hair on the bathroom sink, shower floor, back of toilet and on pillows in the bedroom. The pillowcases also appeared to be quite worn or stained. Dusty blinds in the bedroom also. The property overlooks many shops with high footfall which can become very noisy. The seagulls love the building opposite and ensure to make their presence felt by squawking for long periods of time. Phone signal quite poor. After leaving before the 1st night & complaining to booking.com & the owner, a refund for the room wasn’t given. Owner was pleasant during communication, but lacked the appropriate customer service skills. Trying to recover the security deposit was also difficult. Unless you hound him for it back, expect to forfeit your deposit. Would've added videos, but booking.com won't allow me to. Book at your own risk.
GBComplete and well scaled inventory for everyone's needs. Within easy walk of pubs, cafes and the old town coastal area. Large public car park within 3 mins walk.
Access was a problem. Initially I was given a lock box code by Booking.com which was incorrect. It was only after I rang the owner for the correct code was I able to access the property. Also, the information about how the Damage Deposit was to be paid and refunded as given by Booking.com was wrong. It was only by exchanging messages with the owner was I told about how this was to be administrated for this property. I did have to hasten for the refund of the deposit, but once I did so, it was duly paid immediately.
GBBooking.com gave us the wrong code for the key box so had to call the owner

GBA wonderfully clean and greatly located property in the bustle of George Street. Simply check in/check out with easy access at all times. A good selection of kitchenware to really make yourself at home and comfortable. The tidiness and up to date facilities made a great hassle-free stay
If the heating is turned on (which it simply must in January), the shower becomes scalding hot. There seems to be no way to balance the two temperatures, at burning or freezing
GBGreat location. Warm, comfortable apartment. Slight issue with the code on arrival, but was sorted immediately by the host. Lovely bathroom and spacious shower with lots of hot water and good pressure.
Resident pigeon on the balcony gave me a slight fright! And the kitchen could use a bread knife, but overall it was a great place to stay.
SKIt was an amazing stay in Hastings, the apartment has everything you need, super location very close to the sea. Super clean and comfy.
