New Remodeled Direct Oceanfront Views Beach Cove

The location of this property was excellent for everything Myrtle Beach has to offer. The check in process was very easy and the code arrived as outlined. The views from the unit were great and it had the basic essentials in the kitchen and bathroom areas. Loved that the resort had a lot of choices of pools and that they were all heated. The price was exceptional for a 7-day stay and the resort for the most part was clean. Staff at the resort were friendly.

There was a lot of communication from the rental company and the rental agreement was about 7 pages long stating all the policies/rules of the resort/unit. Being others rent from different companies, not all guests followed the same rules at the resort as outlined in our contract. Inside the unit itself, we had difficulty closing/locking the sliding balcony door several times and the frame around the lock looks bent from others having the same issue. There was a lot of dust on the balcony from work being done on the facing of the building. We could not get the shower head to turn to a different water stream. We also had difficulty trying to get different channels on both televisions in the unit. We were told that all pools and hot tub outside our unit (A) were closed, however we did see several people using these and ignoring the closed signs/caution tape. We asked and were told two days later they were open, but never saw anyone work/fix these. Our resort and the one next to us were doing scaffolding work grinding concrete facing and even being on the beach, we could not hear the ocean over the noise for two days even when on the beach directly by the ocean. The trash chutes doors were locked on the day of departure so we had to find a different option to dispose of a it.

Excellent location

First unit wasn’t even clean when I arrived. Had to switch to another unit. The second unit was clean but the mattress was horrible. Sleep comfort was terrible.

Everything was explained clearly from the time of reservation to checkout. The condo was near everything that one would need. It was clean. The Oceanview was awesome. The appliances were all in working condition. Easy access to the host. The linens were of good quality. Overall it was a great time.

Director chairs for the outside would have enhanced the view. The hot water didn't last long. The wifi was weak.
