GBGBGBFriendly hosts. Perfect stay if you are travelling solo for work! I was able to park on the driveway which was ideal. The room was warm, comfortable, quiet and very clean - was able to order a takeaway and get on with some work, can even have a bath after a long day if you wanted to. The house was so warm I didn’t want to leave in the morning to go back to my freezing Victorian house 😂

GBWhen there are not plenty of commercial options, we used private accommodation. We appreciated the off season reduced price.
Unfortunately, we will not repeat this experience. This was due to many inconveniences: lack of privacy, no fob at the door, window didn't open so we can get some fresh air. We couldn't use the kitchen and had to eat the food in our room. At least if we had a little table, but the room was too small for one. The bed mattress was not of the best quality and I had some back issues the next day. The worst, however, was that our host started to do the dishes at 6:00 am and also at around 8:00pm when we were resting. This was by far worst then bed and breakfast where your expectations are clearly set. We were missleaded by the picture of an external key holder that we are not supposed to share the house. And we wouldn't mind if a little respect or consideration was shown.
